Ordering

What countries do you ship to?

We ship everywhere in Australia from big metropolitan cities, to small regional towns. International shipping is not usually offered though we may be able to help with some special requests.

What happens after I checkout?

After checkout is completed, the team at ModsDirect are already working hard to fulfill your order! If your product is in stock, it'll be dispatched usually within two days. If it's on backorder, your order will commence it's backorder period. If you have any questions at all, contact us!

What payment options are offered?

We are very flexible with payment options. We accept Paypal, Card Payments, Bank Transfer, ZIP, Afterpay and PayPal 'Pay In 4'.

What if I want to speak to someone?

We want to speak to you too! Contact us with any questions, concerns, or feedback. We will be sure to get back to you within 48 hours. However, please note that inquiries sent on Fridays will receive a reply the following Monday, but possibly sooner.

Shipping

How long will it take to receive my order?

Standard shipping normally takes 3-5 days. However, depending on the product this may take longer. Our team is diligent with shipping estimates and will always keep you updated.

My tracking number hasn't moved for a while, what's going on?

Usually our couriers are very efficient and our products transit seamlessly, but sometimes things do happen that are out of our control. If something seems off, or your product is supposedly "stuck" somewhere in it's transit, let us know. We will happily chase it up.

Please note, it's not uncommon for shipments to WA to be held up leaving Sydney "awaiting next cycle". This is normal and should resume shortly.

I live in Sydney, can I pick up my item today?

While we'd love to meet you, ModsDirect do not currently have a facility for customer collection. Our business is locally owned and operated, but is entirely hosted online.

My tracking says delivered, but I can't find the package. What now?

Firstly, let's check your address to confirm the correct address was entered at time of checkout. If the address is looking good, let us know and we will follow up the shipping company and attempt to receive GPS data as well as photographs of the item's successful delivery.

At this point we will do what we can to resolve the issue in the background, but a police report MUST now be submitted by the customer.

What happens if I miss a delivery?

Most of our products are sent with "Authority To Leave" granted to the courier. This means if no one is in attendance, your product will be left somewhere safe and secure. If you have a specific place you'd like your item to be left, tell us during checkout. We would be happy to let the courier know.

If your preference is to NOT grant "Authority To Leave", let us know at checkout. We will ensure the product is taken to a depot if nobody is in attendance.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return a product?

Customers have 7 days inclusive from the day they receive their order to lodge a “Return Request” with ModsDirect. The item must then be returned within 21 days. All returns must be trackable.

Please note that exchanges, refunds or credits will NOT be honoured until the return is received by ModsDirect.

Send us an email with your order reference to start a return.

How long will it take to receive my refund?

Refunds are processed within 7 days from when we receive the item(s).

Can I return a product after install?

Once a product has been installed, used or fitted it is no longer returnable.

What about restocking fees?

All returns will incur a fee of 15%. This is to cover fees incurred by ModsDirect for payment processing and handling. We are at the mercy of paying for services used at our website regardless of whether the order remains completed or reversed.

Where do items need to be returned to?

After submitting a “Return Request” form, ModsDirect will be in touch via email to confirm details for return.

Who pays for return shipping?

All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. However, if a customer has received the incorrect product, ModsDirect will cover return fees and provide a courier pickup at no cost to the customer.

Exchange, Credit or Refund?

If a customer requests a return, they may be eligible for either an exchange, credit or refund based on the nature of the return and product availability. If refunding, moneys will be returned to the customer via the original payment gateway used at checkout.

Can I drop a return off to ModsDirect?

Sorry, no in-store return option is presently available.

I damaged the packaging during unboxing, can I still return?

Unfortunately not. All packing materials must be in resalable condition for a return. Some minor damages such as a neat cut of a package seal may still be eligible for return. Please include a photo of the packaging with your Return Request form.
